Another major feature we are adding soon is "reactions", to be included when we roll out Pips . Reactions are an expansion on the "likes" you are already familiar with, with a much broader palette that allows community members to quickly express their feelings about a particular post/reply/comment. Reactions will be expressed on a post like so: Click on a reaction that has already been expressed to add yourself to that reaction, or choose the plus icon to choose one of the other reactions.
Hi Chrissanne, For your notifications, you might want to double check that your "comments/replies" notifications are turned on, in addition to the primary content ones. To gather up your latest content for a weekly update, the easiest way would be to go to your control panel, under Manage Content, and do a search by date. Make sure that you tick the box that says "include comments/replies." That will give you a list that you can work with. Then for the email, you can incorporate quotes with...
Hi, Rosemary. Thanks for opening this discussion space. Would you consider adding some public fields to the member profiles here? I'm absolutely loving the LiveCloud features! Thank you. The backdating of posts is enabling me to add old entries from old blogs here and organize my pre-LiveCloud photos into date order. The ability to insert clips straight into the post body does save me a lot of time too! Now I can just drag and drop them after they are in there. I haven't tried the new clip insertion yet, it sounds great!
Note that the method described above works for Dropbox accounts created on or or before July 31, 2012. You can still accomplish the same thing if you have a Dropbox account you created after that date, but it will be a bit more work, as described here: https://www.dropbox.com/help/201/en
We love groups and the key to making them work is to really think about how to "architect" the information flow. You want the group to contain the information valuable to the participants, but want to be sure you're not managing duplicate content within the groups; which makes it hard to manage. Let me elaborate: Our groups care for separate partner organizations, all of which have different focuses, products and concerns. The assigned admin of the group keeps their section updated with the...
And on a related note, when creating a FORUM TOPICS content block, what factors do you use to determine "TRENDING" in the "sort order" ? Date of most recent post? Views? ??
When you block a person, they can no longer invite you to a private message or post to your profile wall. Replies and comments they make will be collapsed/hidden by default. Finally, you'll never receive email notifications about content they create or likes they designate for your content.
Note: if you proceed, you will no longer be following .
