I'd like to have conversations with other members - but specifically, members who are running Crowdstack. Blog Post CommentI LOVE the idea of this Rosemary ... but I really can't see it taking off in the UK? I know that sounds a bit negative ... but I just don't think we are brave enough to try it!! Interesting that you mention Best Busy ... I recall a story about them a while ago where they were recruiting, and one of the criteria was that the applicant had to have 250 followers on Twitter. I'd love to read your opinion on that

Topic ReplyHi, Thanks for the explanation. It still doesn't help. In what way do I write the font size??? 12px? 12 pt?? I have set my font size in a widget which has my welcome pagagraph, and no matter what I do to it, it is displaying what I would call 2pt type. Please HELP!!!!!

Blog Post CommentI totally agree with each point of Rosemary. Limited knowledge of things can spoil us. It is better to read widely and try to find out the best you want from it. Our own analysis of things will help us to take a final decision. I'm planning to start a social website on a vCloud Connector server, could you please suggest the positives. Blog Post CommentThat was a generous offer in my email Rosemary, of "one of the coolest, most challenging jobs on earth".(In the email that was sent to everyone who has a watch on Social Strata I would guess). Not sure I can fit in the post of 'community manager' in as I am a full time grandparent these days and looking after my kids is far and away more preferable than a similar job on the UK Big Brother forum.......... Blog Post CommentThink of RAID this way: You have a 3 disk drive RAID array. Using your vinyl record example, we'll consider each vinyl record on it's own LP player as a disk drive. Now our records can only be played at single speed, i.e.: audio speed. That's what we call the RPM, or the speed of the spindle. Blog Post Comment"Thank you for nending this"? I have the same problem, and it gets worse every day, seems like. I wrote a quick grocery list the other day for Bob, and he called to ask me what "pupumber" was. (CUCumber, silly!) I am one that likes to write hand-written thank you notes, but they take FOREVER, and more than one draft, because I can't seem to slow my hand down to write neatly. Maybe we need scribes to follow us around and take dictation. You know, kids fresh out of penmanship classes.

Blog Post CommentI love handwriting. At the moment I do a lot - in charts at work mostly. But by this time next year that will all be digital too - I will carry a little laptop around to make notes. I'll be sad for that, but I won't miss not being able to read a Doctor's handwriting. As for having time... I find writing to be very meditative. I automatically slow down to write, and enjoy it more than typing for that reason.

One more thing while I'm trying to write the xml metadata by hand and looking at the EntityId which is by default, points to localhost:9443, should I need to use/install a separate Identity Server like WSO2? I'm currently using OpenSaml 3.0 to build the assertion with the AuthnRequest which btw you mentioned, should come from Crowdstack's side so that makes me wonder if I need both the identity server like WSO2 and OpenSaml or should I only need one...
