Kate uses something called ipronto. She says it's OK, but I guess she's still getting used to it. Don't know if you are familiar with David Allen's "Getting Things Done" (I have the book), but he's got an iPhone app called Action Lists: GTD.
Sounds good...Not sure I would make a switch, but inquiring minds want to know! Originally Posted by Rosemary O'Neill: Absolutely! I'll ping you, perhaps a Skype is in order?
I love how they use circles. It is a great way to organize your friends by their relationship. So many time with Facebook, you cannot specify how they are related to you. Hopefully we will see a bit more iphone application development in this realm. The app that Google has out now could use a bit more polishing. What do you guys think?
No need to manually copy and paste to save your existing discussions, you can install this free Facebook app "Forum for Pages": www.facebook.com/202980683107053 Once installed, click the button "Import existing discussions", this will add all your discussions to the new discussions board.
Thanks for the invitation to Hoop.la. Definitely I will be checking all its features, but I am happy with the way Facebook is. I know discussion forums have an important place in the community management toolbox. But hear I think you are misguiding the readers. Is social strata hosted on a cloud computing strategy platform. Thank you both for pointing out the app! That's definitely helpful. Social66, our applications are hosted by us (i.e., they are not installed software). Does that answer your cloud question?
I've been using my earbuds the last couple of days, because of this road construction noise, and it helps. On Facebook, I hide the game posts as they come up, that way I can keep it to the "nuggets". The only problem is that there's no way to do this on the phone app, so I have to log on via computer occasionally to fix this. I'm a bit surprised the iPhone app doesn't have a facility for this, but maybe they will in a future version.
Thanks for sharing your round-the-country trip. It was so much fun to get new photos of the kids. Though I do think a color timeline to see their tan progression over the last month would be awesome. I'm quite fond of the red disney days. Glad you've all made it back safely!
Good to know that one can do without one's laptop. I think I'd still have a hard time--it's a security blanket!! Thanks for the reminder about the 1Password--I'll have to get that on my iPad.
Thanks everyone! April, I like your idea of the tan-progression series...we definitely do not look like we belong in Seattle now. I'm sad to announce that the tops of my feet have peeled now, and just look scaly instead of tan. The cloud never formed a true tornado, but we heard later that two semis were blown off the road that afternoon, and there were funnel clouds in the area. We got really lucky. Incidentally, in case I haven't mentioned it before, the BEST blog about iPads is...
