As part of the recent Sets and Collections Release, Hoop.la no longer supports Facebook feed integration on member profile pages. The purpose of the feed integration on member profile pages is to provide a unified snapshot of a particular member's social activity across both Hoop.la and other social networks like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. It makes it easy to see, at a glance, a particular member's recent photos on Instagram, tweets on Twitter, etc.
Over the years, Facebook has tightened the reins on use of their API. Facebook adopted an app approval process that is required in order to support "extra permissions" for API integrations such as Hoop.la's. This has made the Facebook integration process more burdensome for Hoop.la administrators. In the past, Hoop.la admins could simply create a Facebook "app" to handle their integration, which included pulling in a member's recent Facebook posts. Facebook has now deprecated the ability to pull in a Facebook user's recent posts and made it increasingly difficult (if not entirely impossible) to gain access to these legacy components of their API.
Since Facebook has decided to no longer allow sites to integrate a Facebook user's posts via the API, we unfortunately have no other choice but to disable Facebook post integration in Hoop.la member profiles. You can still integrate with Facebook for social login and for profile linking, however.
If you have Facebook integration enabled currently, then you shouldn't need to change anything; your integration will remain in place. The only change is that Facebook feed integration in member profiles has been permanently removed.
