What do you think of this? If you're intrigued keep reading. If not; Move along folks. Nothing to see here. Fork to a New Topic We have the cool feature that let us fork a post to a new topic. and the post then gets a tag like this. The Problem But people will often reply to the post anyway - and that just makes things difficult. I just did this. When you click the Read More button it returns to To make this happen. I hear & see where you are coming from. At work I have to carry over & or "bank" leave I have not taken in a "leave year". So the following year I have more to take but I still may not have the need to take this leave. If the concept of unlimited leave was used, this situation would not exist & I would be comfortable in the knowledge that should the circumstances occur the leave would be available if required... Simple.. Having said that, I do work with some (very undisciplined)...
I cannot imagine having the job of coming up with these swags. Some of the ones I've seen posted here are cool. There was a group of movers that had a ball similar to the one posted on here. Maybe they were trying to say "it's a ball for us to move all your stuff!"
Re: Creating Content is Simpler I am really hoping that you all include in this update a way to move a post to add it as a reply to an existing post. With this "simpler" way of posting, I'm forecasting our users will probably post in the wrong spot. (We've got a lot of possible forums and topics and posts.) -- Carol
Great blog Don... if I understood any of it! But to make it something I might understand then. A RAID is like an old vinyl record? You might only play one track a lot and whilst the part you play disintegrates, the rest of the record would perform fine if you could be bothered to move the tracks on? So your SSD drive spreads the wear and tear out across the disc without seemingly taking any time to reach or store stuff and thus making all tracks available at one click? Thereby extending the...

The confusion surrounding social marketing is palpable. Whenever I speak with folks they believe it's only about posting to Facebook and Twitter. No one really knows how to engage customers. Now that I am blogging and writing social media posts for clients, it's a longer haul to earn traction. People and companies are so behind and had they engaged 3 years ago when everyone was excited to like, share, follow it would be easier today.
LinkedIn share button is coming...meanwhile, you can copy paste the URL into the LinkedIn post box and it should work fine (should you be so inclined). And I totally agree that confusion is rampant right now. Seeing the data from this study really gives perspective on how many folks are still figuring it out as they go.
Ok, interesting idea....I've got a couple of possible solutions. 1. Create a "Best of" forum (and don't allow regular members to post or comment in it). Move your "best" topics to that forum. Create a Content Block for that forum and put it on the home page. 2. Create a Custom HTML content block (one time) that contains 3-5 bullet point links and nicely formatted text paragraph (or sentence). On a weekly, monthly, or other basis, just replace the links and paragraphs with the new topics you...
Hi, Derek! In your control panel, go to Navigation Menus (under Design). On the right you'll see a link marked "Add Menu Item". If you click that, you'll get a popup, and you can add your title and the URL for the page itself (which you can get on the actual custom page). Once you've added them, you can move your menu items around by using the arrows on the left. Let me know if you have any questions! Lori
When you block a person, they can no longer invite you to a private message or post to your profile wall. Replies and comments they make will be collapsed/hidden by default. Finally, you'll never receive email notifications about content they create or likes they designate for your content.
Note: if you proceed, you will no longer be following .
