Hi, Did you convince someone in your organization to have a community using the words engagement or participation? We have a community where people ask questions, and we hope they get answers. It's not easy to tell if someone with a question visits us, finds the answer, and goes back to their lives - without a trace. They may not leave evidence of having been engaged by the content or feel it necessary to participate. How would you measure value in a community like this? Thanks for your...
I believe that the level of engagement could be measured by quality vs quantity. For instance, if someone posts a quality and constructive question that receives feedback and/or leads to repetitive conversion. This would indicate that the creator most likely has taken time, thought carefully, and clearly has made an impression on others. I would use this similar formula to measure performance.
Hi, Mother-of-Many. Thanks for your thoughtful reply. I agree. In some organizations, decisions are driven by metrics (quantity). It takes a different kind of insight to discern quality. I would like to see Crowdstack give us tools to do sentiment analysis . As a start, I'd like to know how I can use the Community Rank to measure engagement. I'll start a new discussion to explore that question. We modified the Posting Tips section in our community. Click the picture above to see where that...
You do all that before feeding those kiddies? And you cook! If I am honest It is the Small business feel that attracts me to LiveCloud. Some of the Faceless options out there just turn me off. So from my point of view your "recipe" is very tasty. I would love to know how you manage your Email in box...
LOL, but breakfast is usually something "instant." It makes everything so much more fun when we get to know our customers and they become friends. Makes me want to get up at 6am When are you coming back to visit us in the States again? I use my email inbox as a "to do" list. First run through and delete all of the spam (even with filtering, there's a lot). Then respond to the quick items, then go top to bottom for the longer responses. Then read the blogs, deleting the ones I don't need to...
Well visiting America/Seattle depends on Elizabeths recovery from this Pemphigoid condition. It is so sensitive that we fear a prolonged flight may antagonise it. However people are supposed to recover so we will see. We would love to Amtrak it from Chicago to Seattle have va few days with you lot again then go back via a different route. Probably expensive but worth it.
Dear Rosemary: When you say, " Add social integrations to encourage external socializing. Enable as many of the social integrations as you can, so that your members can meet each other "off-community" as well. That may solidify relationships within the community," what do you mean? Linking Twitter and showing it on the site or what? Can that be done in communities and groups, or only on the main home site? Please advise (with links, for how, if possible). Thanks. Cissy (ACEsConnection)
Hi @Cissy ! The social integrations are enabled at the top community level in the control panel: Basics > Social Networks. For each social network, you can choose Sign-in, Member Profile Links, and/or Social Feed, depending on what's available to us from that social network (every API is different). If you choose member profile links or social feed as an option, your members will see a prompt banner at the top of their profile the next time they go that page, saying something like,...
Hi @Julie Usher , here's the announcement post about that feature, which gives some more detail: https://hey.crowdstack.com/b...ecommendation-engine . If you want to pursue further, can you please put a support email in, so we can talk plan details, etc.?
Just left a message; I thought it was a free feature based on your post, so unless it's a nominal charge, I probably can't afford it. But please go ahead and quote me there.
Would love to see some new Hoop features or tweaks to existing ones that glean and highlight “recent replies and new topics being discussed” in an attractive way so as to support the important goal you have written about, Rosemary. The block extracts don’t cut it. The Activity Stream tries but it’s too real-time and not descriptive. You don’t have to look far for what an enticing conversation boosting feature might look like. See Facebook. I have several ideas when you’re ready to brainstorm.
