Crowdstack DiscussionHi, i am the Admin for forums.elationlighting.com and I checked that forum today and i see there were 5 new posts and 4 of which i never got any email notification about them being created. In short, i am not seeing any new posts via email, i am subscribed to ALL forum sections and i have not gotten any emails to either of my accounts on that forum. some of my co-workers have received the new posts emails, but i have not. I checked my spam folder several times a day, not in there either.

Blog Post CommentI think the basic age limit should be raised to 18. Just had a high school senior friend me on Facebook simply because I graduated there 25 years earlier. I seriously doubt that she would really want to hang out with a 43 year old truck driver.

And the cavalry resolved the issue yesterday...I'm looking to improve our outward communications when things like that happen; we'd like to be much more proactive than we were yesterday, and I'm sorry for that. Harold, I might agree with you. It's kind of funny that the actual age issue never really came up in their discussions. It's probably because there are certain situations where you wouldn't want to lock out 15-16 year olds.

Blog Post CommentThe conversation about kids online is an interesting conversation. Sometimes it is tricky to navigate these waters. Do you guys staff an ip lawyers or do you use one from the outside. I would be interested to see how small businesses handle these issues.

Topic ReplyHi James- It looks like you disabled instant email notifications as a delivery method on your account. Go to your notification settings and under Instant Notification Delivery Methods, check the box for "Email"... currently you are only set to receive on-site alerts. Hope this helps!

Blog Post CommentMentions will be of good use, and is a more efficient way to address someone directly in a mass discussion then traditional 'quoting' which basically just copies text and formats it in a block. Also, usernames in profile URL's are pretty significant for search engines. As people are searching on these names and so your community may pop up in even more searches as long as that username is a big name in a respective community. This is also why Google, Facebook, and Twitter started supporting...
