    Just to clarify what Jonmark said... the "mark as best answer" action is a feature in QuestionShark, our customer support product/module. Thus, sites that do not have QuestionShark enabled will never have that option available.

    Hi, Derek! You can create an Automation Rule that comps them a Premium Membership based on their response to a profile field: 1. In Automation Rules, add a new Rule, and give it a name ("Comp Premium Membership for Retired Members", for instance). 2. The Trigger will be "Member Registers". 3.     Under Manage Content -> Search Content, search for the topics you want to re-open. Select the topics (across all pages, if that's what you want), and then choose the "Open: Accept New Comments" option in the action dropdown at the bottom of the page.

    I would love to see sites that are using this database feature. Does socialstrata have an demo sites set up for viewing? Anyo e Willi g to post a link k to their site featuring this database feature? Look forward to seeing a few sites in action.     I would also like to support this suggestion. I would also add that this same behavior should take place when declining an applicant to our forums. I would actually like to see that any time you perform a negative action, the admin is presented with a choice to notify or not. Thanks for suggesting this @GidgetKat . Great suggestion.
