    Hi ST, Hoop.la supports uploading image attachments via drag and drop. You can drag an image from your desktop right into the WYSIWYG editor. If you want to upload other file types, you need to use the Add Attachments link below the post. Once you've uploaded an image or video attachment, you will see a link to insert the attached file into the body of the post, as well. Is this what you're looking for?     I really like the way you handle images. That's an understatement. I *love* that I can grab a screen shot with SnagIt and paste it directly from the clipboard into a post without having to save it as a file first. Yes, that's what my customer wants, but when I when I dug into the reason for the request: Well there are better places to host files. Thanks Brian, ST

    Hi ST, Glad to hear you like it One side note on this: when you do that, depending on your browser, the image may or may not be uploaded as an attachment. Sometimes, the image will be embedded into the post. Try viewing the source, and if you see base64 encoded data, then that's what's happened. It works, but I just wanted to point out the difference that sometimes you may want the uploaded file to actually be an attachment (which will let you link to it elsewhere and provide a zoomed...

    In your control panel, go to Forums > Specific Forums. Click Forum Details link for the forum in which you wish to enable or disable attachments. Click on the “Posting Settings” tab. Under “Attachments,” check or uncheck “Allow Attachments” and then change the settings, if applicable. Click on “Update Settings.”
