"Thank you for nending this"? I have the same problem, and it gets worse every day, seems like. I wrote a quick grocery list the other day for Bob, and he called to ask me what "pupumber" was. (CUCumber, silly!) I am one that likes to write hand-written thank you notes, but they take FOREVER, and more than one draft, because I can't seem to slow my hand down to write neatly. Maybe we need scribes to follow us around and take dictation. You know, kids fresh out of penmanship classes.
My handwriting has always been bad, but since I started typing instead of writing I must admit that my handwriting is downright horrible. Emilie is a little saint and tells me that my handwriting is really nice, but we all know its not. I can barely read it, and I wrote it. *grin*
I love handwriting. At the moment I do a lot - in charts at work mostly. But by this time next year that will all be digital too - I will carry a little laptop around to make notes. I'll be sad for that, but I won't miss not being able to read a Doctor's handwriting. As for having time... I find writing to be very meditative. I automatically slow down to write, and enjoy it more than typing for that reason.
