You are absolutely right Ted. It is a clinical and judgemental term for what should be the backbone to any organisation. It defines 'humans' as a replicable resource. But we all are unique and the skill for any organisation is to recognise what part of us makes us valuable.
When you block a person, they can no longer invite you to a private message or post to your profile wall. Replies and comments they make will be collapsed/hidden by default. Finally, you'll never receive email notifications about content they create or likes they designate for your content.
