Hoop.la offers recommendations in the interface and admin control panel in the places where you can provide an image. This “cheat sheet” is meant to pull all of that information together in one handy-dandy place.

Forum avatars should be square (see the green box), and ideally at least 100 x 100 pixels. They will be automatically resized down to 50 pixels by 50 pixels, so make sure it’s a clear image at that size.
Recommended Sizes for Other Graphics

| Favicon | Will be resized to 16 x 16 pixels, must be .ico file |
| Permission group badge | 15 pixels tall (width at your discretion) |
| Custom Graemlin (emoticon) image | 15 x 15 recommended (but any size will work, we do not resize) |
| Calendar event photo | Recommend at least 100 pixels square; will be resized to 50 pixels square |
| Chat event photo | Recommend at least 100 pixels square; will be resized to 50 pixels square |
| Theme background image | Recommend a size of at least 1200 pixels tall x 1900 pixels wide if the goal is to have one large image that covers the entire background on most screens. You can use smaller images if you wish to tile. |
