I am interested in creating a survey for only a small subset of users. I do not wish to make it public or post it to the community, but rather send out an e-mail to certain users with a link to the survey. So, when I create the survey is it automatically posted to the community, or can I hide it? Will a link be generated to put in an e-mail?
Hi, DBenoit. Thanks for giving us some more information about you and your goals in your profile . From your profile What's your community's big goal? The goal of this community is to foster the exchange of experiences, issues, information, and inspiration toward overcoming personal health challenges in the hunting and fishing communities. Have you found any places (physical or virtual) where like-minded people congregate? I'm picking up on Rosemary's thoughts about brick and mortar...
Hi Ted, Is there a way to turn off this feature? If not, we need one immediately. Concerns: Most of our circles are to provide access to specific forums that are visible only to the members of those specific circles. This is important: We do not want the existence of some forums and the related circles to be visible. Some of our circles have names that that were never intended for public consumption If specific circles are by invitation-only (most of ours are), then we don't want to have to...

Hello, Below is part of the xml that I have uploaded where I think it already covers the certificate for the signing? Btw, I'm using SSOCircle as public IDP where I got this metadata and I have configured our application as SP to talk to this same public IDP account for the SSO. Still figuring out what else have gone wrong. I greatly appreciate your prompt response despite the holidays. Best Regards, Harvey
Hi Amy I'm going to answer in the support email we have going, but just in case anyone else had a similar question....go to your Settings, under Basics, and choose "Private" rather than "Public." That will put the entire community behind a login, so that "guests" or "visitors" can't see anything without registering. If you want to prevent new registrations, or limit to invitation-only, you can also go in Settings, to Registration Settings, and tick the box to restrict those options as well.
Hi Claudio, thanks for reaching out!
