Blog Post CommentHello , I am excited about the news. Would like to be a tester. I have sub communities. would this feature remain? Very good news and thanks for sharing.
-
Blog Post CommentHi Margarita- You'll be on our beta/upgrade server when it is available... and we'll notify you when that happens, of course. We will still be supporting groups (which is what I think you were referring to). Not planning to drop any features.
-
Blog Post CommentHi Ted, do you have an update on the estimated launch for beta testing? I vaguely recall an August projection, so I thought I'd check.
-
Blog Post CommentHi Lynda- I'll be posting a new blog post with an update sometime next week.
-
Blog Post CommentRe: Creating Content is Simpler I am really hoping that you all include in this update a way to move a post to add it as a reply to an existing post. With this "simpler" way of posting, I'm forecasting our users will probably post in the wrong spot. (We've got a lot of possible forums and topics and posts.) -- Carol
-
Blog Post CommentAs long as our members can preview posts, moderators can ban members by IP (loved that feature in Eve) and we can remove Likes from the Activity Stream then we're good!
-
Blog Post Commentlot of major updates. very impressive. look forward to accessing the beta site and making an aggressive push to launch my Hoop.la site. I think forum owners are going to see a SIGNIFICANT increase in engagement across their site with the mobile friendly responsive design. That is HUGE! I suspect large community sites using UBB Forum will see an amazing increase in overall utilization. I look forward to being more engaged with Social Strata. This is a high quality update for sure. Congrats.

Blog Post Comment❤️Looking forward to improved ease of use in the Admin section, and a richer platform with enhanced gui's. Congratulations!
-
Blog Post CommentHas the chat been fixed so that it displays the latest chats first?
-
Blog Post CommentI'm not sure I understand your question, Gamres. There are no known issues with the ordering of chat posts. I'd suggest submitting a support ticket if you are having an issue, so that we can properly assist you.

-
Blog Post CommentMargarita- you have a separate support topic for that over here: https://hey.crowdstack.com/support/topic/beta-si...
-
Blog Post CommentLooks good at my end Ted Thanks http://guyana.hooplaupgrade.com/
-
Blog Post CommentSo where is my site at, there is a copy of my site someplace?? I hope I am understanding this correctly.
-
Blog Post CommentOhh so now we only have two columns on our front page ??
-
Blog Post CommentHi Helela- Yes, the the home page is now 2 columns, though you can create a 3-column custom page to replace it if you like. See the tip here: https://hey.crowdstack.com/support/topic/make-a-...
-
Blog Post CommentHi Helela- You would have been sent an email about your beta site well over a month ago, so you may want to check your email (perhaps check you email spam folder, as well). If you cannot find it, then please submit a support ticket for assistance: https://hey.crowdstack.com/support/post-topic Thanks!
-
Blog Post CommentTed, do we report feedback about the beta site here or in a separate post? Thanks.
-
Blog Post CommentAugie- Questions, comments, issues, suggestions about 2.0 should be posted here: https://hey.crowdstack.com/support
-
Blog Post CommentApologies. I may be confused but expected my new site to be showing today. Could you confirm when it crosses over?
-
Blog Post CommentHi Richard- We emailed everyone about the time frame for each site. Yours will be upgraded today, sometime between 11 AM - 9 PM Eastern Time US. And there will be some downtime for your site when the upgrade happens. Please refer to the email we sent you a couple of weeks ago for specific details for your site. Or, if you have specific questions, please post to our support area here: https://hey.crowdstack.com/support Thanks!
-
Blog Post CommentWow the page views is a wonderful addition, thank you so much. Is this tallying ONLY those who click and read at the website and NOT those who read it via email?
-
Blog Post CommentThe page views will increment when a user views a topic/blog/clip via the website (standard or mobile). We do not track page views for users viewing the a post via email notification.
-
Blog Post CommentLike the release, wish the name was better. How about: "Lies, damned lies, and statistics" (What are 3 kinds of lies) Or "Richard's Wet Dream" Or...
-
Blog Post CommentWill the Recommendation Engine work on the mobile interface?
-
Blog Post CommentHi Melanie, We currently do not show any related content on the mobile interface.
-
Blog Post Comment❤️As I told in the "What would you like us to do next"? survey last month, a webspace manager is just what I was looking for. Amazing to see it implemented so quickly!
-
-
Blog Post CommentRecommendation Engine. Do I have to pay extra for this? It looks useful but surely based on the monthly fee this would be a normal integration as part of the development of the site? Could you let me know?
-
-
Blog Post CommentI like what I see but fail to comprehend why dogfood is needed.. Do Sharks like dogfood?
-
Blog Post CommentWe're still working on pricing details...more info to come on that. James, sharks will eat ANYTHING, right?
-
Blog Post Comment"We're going to need a bigger boat." I'm glad to see QuestionShark nearing completion.
-
-
Blog Post CommentWe have a support forum for our users. Unfortunately, some of the very people who need support seem to resist posting, or are confused by important things like remembering to "follow" their topic to get notification of responses. We also use graphic how-to's -knowing many don't read carefully. Our #1 support request is to "unsubscribe" or cancel memberships. We really wish Hoopla would allow users to unsubscribe/cancel themselves. Automation of that process would be more support-friendly.
-
Blog Post CommentYou know we're always listening, Neil! Thanks for sharing your experience.
-
Blog Post CommentAny update on getting a preview feature for posting topics/replies?
-
Blog Post CommentHi Augie- We will let you know via the existing support ticket for that request when "post preview" is implemented: https://hey.crowdstack.com/s...ewing-before-posting Thanks!
-

Blog Post CommentGreat news, Ted. As I said in another thread, you guys constantly amaze me!
-
Blog Post CommentNice changes! One question: If you don't have groups or portfolios enabled, and added the Community Logo, is it possible to go back to using no logo at all (like on this site)?
-
Blog Post CommentSlaz- Yes, definitely. The logo is only required currently if you have groups or portfolios enabled.
-
Blog Post CommentAh, sorry for being a bit vague, but I meant that I already fiddled with the feature and added a test logo. Is it possible to remove the set logo and go back to using no logo at all? I can find an edit button next to the set logo, but that doesn't seem to allow removal of the logo.
-
Blog Post Comment❤️Hi Slaz- Sounds like just something we need to fix. We probably just need to add a delete option for that scenario. These sorts of things are really better suited for our support site, but I will go ahead and add that to our to-do list so we can fix it.
-
Blog Post CommentAh, sorry for bringing it up here. Thanks for adding it to the list though!
-
Blog Post Comment❤️Hi Slaz, We just deployed the fix so that you can remove the community logo now. Thanks again for bringing it to our attention! Brian
-
Blog Post CommentThank you Brian! And not related to this release yet still important: Merry christmas to you and your colleagues!
