A few people have asked me to blog about what it's like to experience the sudden focus of media attention (see the clips here).
I would say it's a lot like being hugged in the center of a group of hungry grizzly bears. At first, it's warm and exhilarating, with a frisson of danger. The bears are very urgent and their heads are way up above yours. Then, once the bear hug is over, you're left a bit bewildered and disoriented. You enjoyed it, but you're certain that they might return and rip your face off at some point in the future.
Seriously, though, it has been fun hearing from some great businesspeople, making new contacts, and talking about how we small business owners can make a big impact with small bold actions. I hope to keep that conversation going.
Now back to the business at hand...working on our next release of Social Enterprise!
