Behind the Scenes - Pumpkin Carving Contest

For the last 10 or so years, off and on, we've held an annual pumpkin carving contest at the office. It has become a hotly contested prize, with very creative entries each year. We've had "balloon boy" pumpkins, Ted's face on a pumpkin, celebrity guest judges (Jason Faulkner helped judge one year), and pumpkins with product logos on them. This year was no exception...we had several visitors: Barry's son, my mother, and Lori's husband Bob all showed up to join the festivities.

The winning design came from the team of Dave and Bob...a very frightening pumpkin-eating-a-doll scenario. Congrats guys!

Yep, that's Sandy's knife from his Army days. He was very nervous to have me use it. To be honest, it's only good for the big stuff---there's no delicate work that can be accomplished with a knife that size.
