Note that we recommend that you disable HTML (which is the default setting). Enabling HTML may subject your board to problems as bad HTML can easily break the display and may open up security problems introduced by malicious code. Instead of using HTML, we recommend that you use UBBCode, a substitute markup language designed to give you the flexibility of marking up your text without the security risks involved in using HTML.
To change your UBBCode and/or HTML settings in your control panel, go to Forums > Specific Forums. Click the link for Forum Details for each forum on which you wish to enable or disable UBBCode or HTML. Click on the “Posting Settings” tab. Under “Supported Codes,” check or uncheck “Allow UBBCode,” “Allow UBBCode Colors,” “Allow UBBCode Images” and/or “Disable HTML.”
