Hi, wondering two things:

(1) Where can I change colors in the "add reply box" - see screen shot below (want to change pale grey to another color; also the icons across the top)

(2) Also in forums: How can I make the background of the original topic a different color than the backgrounds on all of the comments? They seem to change together, but I would like the topic to be a different color.

THANKS!

Hi @Julia M Usher,

For #1, you could probably use some custom CSS along these lines to change the top and bottom bar background colors:

/* TinyMCE WYSIWYG bar colors */
.mce-toolbar-grp, .mce-statusbar, .mce-toolbar .mce-btn {
background-color: #F9F4F1;
}

That should at least get you close to what you're looking for, I think. Note that the WYSIWYG editor is a pretty elaborate tool (based on TinyMCE), so I don't know if this covers all scenarios consistently. Changing the colors of the text and icons is trickier, so you may want to discuss with your web guy if you have more specific requirements there. If you need our assistance with more advanced CSS like that, it would fall under Professional Services.

For #2, if you want to just change the background color of forum topics, this should do the trick:

/* change topic post background color */
.post-box.h-original-topic-post {
background-color: #F9F4F1;
}

Hope this helps,

Brian
