Hi, we're planning to use your SSO to be integrated with our own registration and login system. I have a ques: how do we actually login to crowdstack from our site with the use of SSO? I checked your API calls and can see that you have endpoints for SSO member lookup as well as the login endpoint however, in your login, we need to provide the password which we don't have since we're just logging in from our site. Please let me know what do we need to do or use to achieve this. Thanks.
Hi @Cissy ! The social integrations are enabled at the top community level in the control panel: Basics > Social Networks. For each social network, you can choose Sign-in, Member Profile Links, and/or Social Feed, depending on what's available to us from that social network (every API is different). Crowdstack uses SAML 2.0 for SSO, so in order to hook up your Crowdstack via SSO, you will need to implement a SAML Identity Provider on your registration and login system. In SSO mode, Crowdstack will act as a SAML Service Provider. SAML 2.0 is an open standard with tons of information widely available. You can learn more about...
Hi @squidwurrd , The API documentation you linked to is for Crowdstack Pro . It looks like you're using Crowdstack , which does not have an API, which is why you can't find it in the control panel. Sorry for the confusion! Brian
Hello I am a developer trying to do research on ingesting data from crowdstack. I created an account to see how fleshed out the api is and am attempting to do some testing. The link to the API docs is easy to find but what's not easy to find is this "API Access" section mentioned in the docs. Here is the link to the crowdstack api. If anyone knows where I can find it I would greatly appreciate it. It may just be because I have a free account I cant see it which is fine I just need to know that.
