Tips❤️Sometimes I want to reply to a long post and prefer to quote the original post, and then split the quote so I can insert comments. I found a trick for doing it. It's super easy. Reply with Quote Click where you want to split the quoted text. Press Enter once Press Left Arrow once Press Enter three times. Blog Post CommentHello Could you please explain just how the new ‘multi quote’ function can be used when you wish to quote from a previous page, as well as the current page? This is often the case especially when a new page has only one or two post on it. I know that you can post a quote from a previous page; we need to be able to quote from more than one page. Having the posting page tied to the current page (crazy) prevents me from being able to do this as the first quote selected cannot survive the page...

Blog Post CommentWe have a support forum for our users. Unfortunately, some of the very people who need support seem to resist posting, or are confused by important things like remembering to "follow" their topic to get notification of responses. We also use graphic how-to's -knowing many don't read carefully. Our #1 support request is to "unsubscribe" or cancel memberships. We really wish Hoopla would allow users to unsubscribe/cancel themselves. Automation of that process would be more support-friendly.

Topic ReplyI've since discovered that with browsers other than Google Chrome, I can split a quote by placing the cursor where you want to break the quote, then press Enter three times. This is much simpler. Try it, it may work for you

Blog Post Comment#3 "request deletion of all of their content by the admin" is a problem for message threads where a user's content is critical to the rest of the user's messages in that thread. They should not have the right to ruin other people's contributions if their post is important or replied to. What I would suggest is that they have the right to remove their NAME from posted content, not the content itself, in order to make their content anonymous. Blog Post CommentThat item is a "request" by the member for the admin to delete their content. You can refuse to delete their content, if you feel it's within your rights. We're just providing the mechanism that will support compliance with GDPR; what you choose to do with it is your decision as the owner/admin. And I'm not able to monitor this site in the next few weeks to know when you release it. Also, do we need to set the issuer, audience restriction, etc. in crowdstack as well? Topic ReplyHi @Harvey Mercado , What Destination URL are you referring to? Are you referring to the SAML Assertion? If so, Crowdstack doesn't use Destination URL. Note that the Assertion Consumer Service URL is defined in your Crowdstack SAML metadata, which is found at the /saml/metadata path in Crowdstack. I don't know which Crowdstack you're affiliated with or I would provide the direct URL to you. Crowdstack doesn't put any requirements on the Issuer or Audience. You will need to make sure the...

Topic ReplyHi @Harvey Mercado , You can find the Crowdstack SP SAML metadata here: https://manchesterunity.crowdstack.io/saml/metadata Since Crowdstack will be performing the AuthnRequest s, Crowdstack will define the Request ID. You just have to make sure you match your Assertion response to the Request ID it corresponds to. Hope this helps! Brian

I'd focus first on the basics of getting the SAML IdP AuthnRequest processing and Assertion response working. Get that set up and working.
