Tips❤️Just as you can use Font Awesome font icons for premium member badges, you can also use them for any permission circle badges, or activity level badges (instead of titles). For purposes of this tip, we will be creating a badge for Activity Level Titles, which can be set via Recipes. First, select the font icon you want from the FontAwesome list of icons, here . Note that while the Solid and Brands icons are free to use, Regular, Light, and Duotone require that you purchase a Pro license.

TipsIt's been a while since I shared a "fun with Recipes" tip. This one is useful if you have more than one admin or moderator, and want to keep share why you banned (or unbanned) a specific member. To set up this Recipe: 1. Go into your control panel and click Basics > Recipes. 2. Click "Build Custom Recipe." 3. Give it a name, like "Add Member Note When Banning." 4. Crowdstack Discussion❤️Another major feature we are adding soon is "reactions", to be included when we roll out Pips . Reactions are an expansion on the "likes" you are already familiar with, with a much broader palette that allows community members to quickly express their feelings about a particular post/reply/comment. Reactions will be expressed on a post like so: Click on a reaction that has already been expressed to add yourself to that reaction, or choose the plus icon to choose one of the other reactions.

Crowdstack DiscussionHi, Is it possible to moderate reactions? For example, a member wants to react with at thumbs down. Can that member action be made to appear in the /cp/moderationQueue so it must be approved before it goes live? Thanks, ST

Suggestions💯👍Would it be possible for you to add a Popup Action in the Automation Rules? This could be handy in many situations: Acknowledging a posting milestone (a member's 100th post, his 500th post, etc.) These would be a good opportunity to build member pride and loyalty via a "Congratulations!" popup. Notices on New Content about threads being started in the correct sub-forum. The setup should allow for us to author different popups for different purposes.

But for most corporations, I firmly believe this approach would be doomed to failure. This policy will turn into a nightmare for any who would rebel against the oppression seen in corporations who create policies based on the performance of the LCD. Blog Post CommentI hope it works -- I think it is a great way to treat employees. I don't think our bunch is ready for it. Too many little squabbles and turf wars going on. How do you handle abuse? At some point, if it is abused, some kind of action has to occur. I know that you have exceptional employees and don't anticipate any problems, but do you have a plan for what to do if someone does abuse it? Thanks, Donna

Blog Post CommentKate uses something called ipronto. She says it's OK, but I guess she's still getting used to it. Don't know if you are familiar with David Allen's "Getting Things Done" (I have the book), but he's got an iPhone app called Action Lists: GTD.
