Just as you can use Font Awesome font icons for premium member badges, you can also use them for any permission circle badges, or activity level badges (instead of titles). For purposes of this tip, we will be creating a badge for Activity Level Titles, which can be set via Recipes. First, select the font icon you want from the FontAwesome list of icons, here . Note that while the Solid and Brands icons are free to use, Regular, Light, and Duotone require that you purchase a Pro license.
This is similar to the tip about adding a custom icon to Premium Member badges . For this tip, we'll show you how to display a custom icon next to all Member Titles. Note that the same icon will be displayed for all titles in the example, since there is currently no way to differentiate member titles from a CSS standpoint. First, let's see what our sample Member Title of "Dude" looks like without any styling: 1. First, let's focus on simply adding an icon. You can inject a Font Awesome font...
One of the new features is support for Font Awesome font icons. The advantage of using font icons is that they can scale to different sizes without distorting whereas using images can't scale without distorting or adding blurriness. New to the applilcation are text-based member badges instead of image-based badges. If you want to add some extra flair to your premium member badge, you can inject a Font Awesome font icon with some simple custom CSS. First, you must select which font icon you...
I just found this cool (mostly free) tool that helps you pull a dynamic photo feed from Twitter, Instagram, and/or Facebook. If you use their Pro version, it also includes custom CSS and moderation tools. You can paste their embed code into custom content blocks or custom widgets, or into the header or footer of your Crowdstack site. Options include scrolling banners, grids, and map style. SnapWidget If you decide to try it out, come back and share your design!
I completely agree with the post. Creating the community online is merely a way to HOST people in coming together. It allows connection,(eventually mine will also have chat as most of my members are either deaf or interpreters) People long for connection and having an online community that facilitates a place to meet gives deaf people a sense of belonging that at times they do not have if they live alone or have very little connection with people who are able to communicate with them. Thank...
Aha! Guess who uses a Microsoft Surface Pro and taps everything with her fingers (and therefore has no hover experience). Pls remember that hover states don't exist for people on mobile or touch! Thanks.
We do support "sandbox" sites in the form of a QA environment, but that's only available on Pro plans. You can see it in the pricing comparison here: http://www.hoop.la/plans.php
We run a Crowdstack Site focused on Model Trains. We also publish a magazine called O Gauge Railroading . The magazine published its first issue in June of 1969, almost 52 years ago. We have been here since the "Eve" days, and may be Crowdstack's oldest customer. On January 3, 2013, one of our members started a thread entitled "What did you do on your layout today?" Yesterday, that thread reach a very unique milestone. 1,000 pages and 39,990 replies! I think that might be a record.
Hello, I’ve read over the “fork in the road” email. At the end of the email there’s an email address for us to contact the help desk CS Helpers. Is this space closed forever now? 😭 I had a question about finding photos I’ve uploaded onto my “ CS Pro” as it’s now called. Should I email the question? Thank you for your time. Love, PT ps adding a pic just because 🌸
Hi there! Don’t worry this space isn’t going away, we’ve just changed our support system. So for questions and help for Crowdstack you’ll want to email [email protected] . This space is for more general conversation about community management or communities, or sharing tips and tricks related to Crowdstack Pro. good to “see” you!
Hi @squidwurrd , The API documentation you linked to is for Crowdstack Pro . It looks like you're using Crowdstack , which does not have an API, which is why you can't find it in the control panel. Sorry for the confusion! Brian
Hi Sandy, You can email [email protected] for support inquiries. We are currently experiencing performance issues with the Crowdstack Pro shared hosting environment. It's related to a partial hardware failure, and we are actively pursuing possible resolutions. I don't have an ETA as to when it might be resolved, but know that we will be working on it until everything is back to normal. Thanks for your patience and understanding, Brian
Hey Rich... long time! How are things over at OGR? Below is the pertinent custom CSS. I post it with caveats: Caveat 1: We aren't using the "cards" mode/version of Cstack. Like you, we're using what I believe used to be called "version 1" or the legacy format, (i.e. no cards enabled). Caveat 2: We're not running any third-party features (code). If someone is, then our width adjustment may create unintended (but not necessarily unfixable) changes. Caveat 3: Over the years, we've created quite...
Hi Claudio, thanks for reaching out! There isn't a list of sites, but here are some public examples: Kids with Food Allergies Extension Connect WIne Spectator We don't offer pre-translated versions of Crowdstack Pro, but you do have the ability to upload your own translation of the platform (we make the word file available to customers). If you're interested in talking with our team about your specific project, please feel free to email [email protected] and we'd be happy to answer any ...
